Eddie Tryon (Joseph Edward Tryon) was born on July 25, 1900 in Medford, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Medford (MA) and Suffield (CT), Tryon attended Colgate University. Tryon made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the New York Yankees. He played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time. Tryon also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time.
