[edit] Biography

Born on February 9, 1951 in Perry, Georgia, Eddie Solomon (Eddie Solomon) played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 10 year career. Solomon broke into the bigs on September 2, 1973 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put up a 4.57 ERA in 88.2 innings pitched in 1977, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Eddie Solomon's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1981, when he posted a 3.12 ERA. However, others believe that it was 1979, when he posted a 4.21 ERA and struck out 96 batters.
