Eddie Salem (Edward Joseph Salem) was born on August 28, 1928 in Tucson, Arizona. After going to high school at Ramsey (Birmingham, AL), Salem attended the University of Alabama. Salem made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
