Eddie Pellagrini (Edward Charles Pellagrini) was born on March 13, 1918 in Boston, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on April 22, 1946 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1947, his rookie year, he hit .203 with 4 home runs and 19 RBI. Pellagrini played for the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Browns, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 8 year career.
