Eddie Murray (Edward Peter Murray) was born on August 29, 1956 in Halifx, N.S.. After going to high school at Spectrum (Victoria, B.C.), Murray attended Tulane University. Murray made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 19 year career.

Most people believe that 1993 was Eddie Murray's best year, as he made 28 field goals.
