Eddie Moore (Graham Edward Moore) was born on January 18, 1899 in Barlow, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on September 25, 1923 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1924, his rookie year, he hit .359 with 2 home runs and 13 RBI. Moore played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Braves, Brooklyn Robins, New York Giants and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Eddie Moore's best season was 1925, when he hit for a .298 average and knocked in 77 runs.
