Eddie Moegel (Edgar L. Moegel) was born on July 11, 1896. After going to high school at Central (Detroit, MI), Moegel attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Moegel made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Detroit Tigers. He played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 1 year career.
