Eddie Meeks (John Edward Meeks) was born on September 30, 1897 in Louisville, Kentucky. Meeks attended the University of Louisville. Meeks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Louisville Brecks. He played for the Louisville Brecks for his entire 1 year career.
