Eddie Lynch (Edward James Lynch) was born on October 4, 1896 in Northampton, Massachusetts. After going to high school at St. Michael's (Northampton, MA), Lynch attended Catholic College. Lynch made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Rochester Jeffersons. He played for the Orange Tornadoes, Providence Steam Roller, Hartford Blues and Rochester Jeffersons over the course of his 4 year career.
