Eddie Kotal (Edward Louis Kotal) was born on September 1, 1902 in , IL. After going to high school at Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL), Kotal attended Lawrence University and the University of Illinois. Kotal made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 5 year career.
