Eddie Kazak (Edward Terrance Kazak) was born on July 18, 1920 in Steubenville, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 29, 1948 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .304 with 6 home runs and 42 RBI. Kazak played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Eddie Kazak's best season was 1949, when he hit for a .304 average.
