Eddie Halicki (Edward Henry Halicki) was born on December 23, 1905 in Kingston, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Hanover (Wilkes-Barre, PA), Halicki attended Bucknell University. Halicki made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Minneapolis Red Jackets and Frankford Yellow Jackets over the course of his 2 year career.
