Eddie Grant (Edward Leslie Grant) was born on May 21, 1883 in Franklin, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on August 4, 1905 for the Cleveland Naps. In 1907, his rookie year, he hit .243 with 0 home runs and 19 RBI. Grant played for the Cleveland Naps, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Eddie Grant's best season was 1909, when he stole 28 bases.
