Eddie Doyle (Doyle Edward James) was born on August 17, 1898 in New York, New York. Doyle attended Army College. Doyle made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Pottsville Maroons and Frankford Yellow Jackets over the course of his 2 year career.
