Eddie Dove (Edward Everest Dove) was born on April 4, 1937 in Hygiene, Colorado. After going to high school at Loveland (CO), Dove attended the University of Colorado. Dove made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1961 was Eddie Dove's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
