Eddie Delker (Edward Alberts Delker) was born on April 17, 1906 in Palo Alto, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 28, 1929 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Delker played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 4 year career.
