Eddie Brown (Edward William Brown) was born on July 17, 1891 in Milligan, Nebraska. He made his Major League debut on September 26, 1920 for the New York Giants. In 1924, his rookie year, he hit .308 with 5 home runs and 78 RBI. Brown played for the New York Giants, Brooklyn Robins and Boston Braves over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Eddie Brown's best season was 1925, when he hit for a .306 average and knocked in 99 runs.
