Eddie Barnikow (Edward John Barnikow) was born on December 18, 1897 in Meriden, Connecticut. After going to high school at Suffield (CT), Barnikow attended Springfield College. Barnikow made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Hartford Blues. He played for the Hartford Blues for his entire 1 year career.
