Born on March 22, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, Eddie Bane (Edward Norman Bane) played for the Minnesota Twins for his entire 3 year career. Bane broke into the bigs on July 4, 1973 with the Minnesota Twins, and put up a 4.92 ERA in 60.1 innings pitched in 1973, his rookie year.
