Ed Widseth (Edwin C. Widseth) was born on January 5, 1910 in Gonvick, Minnesota. After going to high school at McIntosh (MN), Widseth attended Crookston JC and the University of Minnesota. Widseth made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 4 year career.
