Ed Weir (Edward S. Weir) was born on March 14, 1903 in Superior, Nebraska. After going to high school at Superior (NE), Weir attended the University of Nebraska. Weir made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets for his entire 3 year career.
