Ed Thomas (Edward Lee Thomas) was born on May 4, 1966 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA), Thomas attended the University of Houston. Thomas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1990 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1991 was Ed Thomas's best year.
