Ed Stahl (Edward Adam Stahl) was born on January 16, 1891 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Bellfonte Academy (Bellfonte, PA) and Greensburg (PA), Stahl attended the University of Pittsburgh. Stahl made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Cleveland Tigers. He played for the Dayton Triangles and Cleveland Tigers over the course of his 2 year career.
