Ed Sparr (Edwin Andrew Sparr) was born on July 29, 1898 in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Wausau (WI), Sparr attended Carroll College. Sparr made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Racine Tornadoes. He played for the Racine Tornadoes for his entire 1 year career.
