Ed Skoronski (Edmund J. Skoronski) was born on October 15, 1910 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Brown (Chicago, IL), Skoronski attended Georgetown University and Purdue University. Skoronski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Rams over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1936 was Ed Skoronski's best year.
