Ed Simonini (Edward Simonini) was born on February 2, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virginia. After going to high school at Valley (Las Vegas, NV), Simonini attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Simonini made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Ed Simonini's best year.
