Ed Sicking (Edward Joseph Sicking) was born on March 30, 1897 in St. Bernard, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on August 26, 1916 for the New York Giants. In 1918, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Sicking played for the New York Giants, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 4 year career.
