Ed Sanicki (Edward Robert Sanicki) was born on July 7, 1923 in Wallington, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on September 14, 1949 for the Philadelphia Phillies. Sanicki played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 2 year career.
