Ed Robnett (William Edward Robnett) was born on March 7, 1920 in Klondike, Texas. After going to high school at Cooper (TX), Robnett attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University and Texas Technical University. Robnett made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
