Ed Risk (Edward Risk) was born on April 5, 1908 in Terre Haute, Indiana. After going to high school at Gerstmeyer (Terre Haute, IN), Risk attended Purdue University. Risk made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
