Ed Opalewski (Edward L. Opalewski) was born on November 11, 1919 in Detroit, Michigan. Opalewski attended Eastern Michigan University. Opalewski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 2 year career.
