Ed Neal (William Henry Edward Neal) was born on December 31, 1918 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Neal attended Louisiana State University, Ouachita Baptist University and Tulane University. Neal made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1948 was Ed Neal's best year.
