Ed Muelhaupt (Edward Charles Muelhaupt) was born on December 11, 1935 in Canton, Ohio. After going to high school at Dowling (West Des Moines, IA), Muelhaupt attended Iowa State University. Muelhaupt made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 2 year career.
