Ed Morgan (Edward Carre Morgan) was born on May 22, 1904 in Cairo, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1928 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1928, his rookie year, he hit .313 with 4 home runs and 54 RBI. Morgan played for the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Ed Morgan's best season was 1930, when he slugged 26 home runs, hit for a .349 average and knocked in 136 runs.
