Ed Mincher (Edward M. Mincher) was born on June 17, 1851 in Baltimore, Maryland. He made his Major League debut on May 4, 1871 for the Ft. Wayne Kekiongas. Mincher played for the Ft. Wayne Kekiongas and Washington Nationals over the course of his 2 year career.
