Ed Mickelson (Edward Allen Mickelson) was born on September 9, 1926 in Ottawa, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1950 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Mickelson played for the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Browns and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 3 year career.
