Ed Mcginley (Edward Francis McGinley) was born on August 9, 1899 in Chester, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Swarthmore Prep (Swarthmore, PA), Mcginley attended the University of Pennsylvania. Mcginley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1925 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
