Ed Mcaleney (Edward P. McAleney) was born on September 21, 1953 in Portland, Maine. After going to high school at South Portland (ME), Mcaleney attended the University of Massachusetts. Mcaleney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 1 year career.
