Ed McDonald (Edward Cyril McDonald) was born on October 28, 1886 in Albany, New York. He made his Major League debut on August 5, 1911 for the Boston Rustlers. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .206 with 1 home run and 21 RBI. McDonald played for the Boston Rustlers and Boston Braves over the course of his 2 year career.
