Ed Leip (Edgar Ellsworth Leip) was born on November 29, 1910 in Trenton, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1939 for the Washington Senators. Leip played for the Washington Senators and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 3 year career.
