Ed Kallina (Edward James Kallina) was born on October 28, 1901 in Nada, Texas. After going to high school at San Marcos (TX), Kallina attended Sam Houston State University and Southwest Texas State University. Kallina made his professional debut in the NFL in 1928 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
