Ed Jenkins (Eddie Jay Jenkins) was born on August 31, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida. After going to high school at St. Francis Prep (Brooklyn, NY), Jenkins attended Holy Cross College. Jenkins made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 2 year career.
