Ed Hock (Edward Francis Hock) was born on March 27, 1899 in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on July 8, 1920 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Hock played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career.
