Ed Hiemstra (Edward Hiemstra) was born on March 18, 1920 in Columbus, Missouri. Hiemstra attended Sterling College. Hiemstra made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 1 year career.
