Ed Hardy (Edgar Charles Hardy) was born on March 11, 1951 in Magee, Mississippi. After going to high school at Harper (Mendenhall, MS), Hardy attended Jackson State University. Hardy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
