Born on June 3, 1953 in New York, New York, Ed Glynn (Edward Paul Glynn) played for the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, Cleveland Indians and Montreal Expos over the course of his 10 year career. Glynn broke into the bigs on September 19, 1975 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 3.00 ERA in 60 innings pitched in 1979, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Ed Glynn's best season was 1979, when he posted a 3.00 ERA.
