Ed George (Edward Gary George) was born on August 10, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia. After going to high school at E.C. Glass (Lynchburg, VA), George attended Ferrum JC and Wake Forest University. George made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Colts over the course of his 4 year career.
