Ed Gallagher (Edward Gallagher) was born on February 3, 1903 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Asbury Park (NJ), Gallagher attended Washington & Jefferson College. Gallagher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1928 with the New York Yankees. He played for the New York Yankees for his entire 1 year career.
