Ed Ellis (Edward Key Ellis) was born on October 13, 1975 in New Haven, Connecticut. After going to high school at Hamden (CT), Ellis attended the University at Buffalo. Ellis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins over the course of his 7 year career.
