Ed Davis (Edgar C. Davis) was born on October 22, 1890 in Salem, Indiana. Davis attended Indiana University. Davis made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Muncie Flyers. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Muncie Flyers the entire time. Davis also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Columbus Panhandles the entire time.
